This three part tune is built around a wonderfully un-resolving bassline tossed off by M___ on the spot. Interjections were suggested and arrived at and the whole thing was played for a long time. Every time we neared an ending C___ slowed the drums and the tune continued. This song became a staple of our live shows and was played as recently as 2018 in a simultaneously tighter and looser fashion. It translates very well into many interpretations, always holding fast to its essence. One of M___'s standout contributions to modal riffage via lazy writing. The live drums are much more sensible but the keyboards don't cover the same ground. This recording includes overdubs that are fast-forwarded live tapes of our previous band The B____, E____.

The version on this LP fades into a song from our deleted FIRST ALBUM, the ice-breaker ELECTRISCHE DUO. We knew from the start that our first album would be a sketchy affair but we wanted a mysterious and loose debut that we, as the label, could later abandon. We released it at the same time as our second, much more "together" record WE'RE GLAD YOU AGREE and then removed it from circulation within a few months. This track is our first drum recording and performance. The bass is played through a Roland Double Beat fuzz. We had flashing lights strung all over the room, triggered by the bass amp. Something caught fire and all the lights went out during this jam. The mellotron bits are cut from Fountain of Salmacis by Genesis.
