from : THE SMILING WILDERNESS (sept 2010)

This song had no titled and we gave it the title of the album for this comp. This song is constructed from loops and pieces of a random 35 second jam in the style of "never repeating endless series of notes" that we used to generate material. Untuned dulcimer kerangs abound. The drums and the bass were recorded together, most of the rest is Roland synth and organ layers. This is the "pop song" of the record. Much of the SMILING WILDERNESS is a relentless slog through an alien landscape. This bit is a candy fuelled dance party at the final destination.

I love all of BBNG's albums. (even the rougher BBNG2). I find that Talk Memory has a high musical level throughout but maybe it lacks standout moments like the other albums all had. Still, I listen to it all the time, it's a must have together with all the other BBNG albums. bonhomme7heures
